Featuring a star-studded cast including Prabhas Shraddha Kapoor Jackie Shroff Neil Nitin Mukesh Chunky Pandey Murali Sharma and Mandira Bedi it promised to redefine action cinema.

The production was set to redefine action cinema in the nation with IMAX cameras used for every shot to ensure a visually immersive experience. This was the first Indian film to utilize IMAX technology for all scenes. With underwater action sequences filmed with the lead actor who even learned scuba diving for the role the film promised cutting-edge visuals and thrilling action scenes.
Massive Costs Underwhelming Results
Saahos budget was massive reportedly reaching a staggering Rs 350 crore with a significant chunk of that spent on its action sequences. A single 8-minute action scene which featured 100 stunt performers from around the globe alone cost Rs 70 crore. Even with such lavish spending on production including massive amounts allocated to the cast and cutting-edge technology the film failed to resonate as expected.

Despite its high-profile cast and ambitious action sequences the film’s box office performance was underwhelming. Although it performed decently in the Hindi market it struggled to make an impact with Telugu Malayalam and Tamil-speaking audiences. Despite earning Rs 451 crore worldwide the film fell short of expectations and was seen as a missed opportunity.

Prabhas the protagonist of the film reportedly received a massive fee of Rs 100 crore which was roughly 30% of the total film budget. Despite this hefty investment in his star power the films outcome failed to justify the cost.
