Luxury concierge services startup Indulge Global has raised funding of $1 Mn (about INR 8.6 Cr) from Gautham Pai and angel investor Nikhil Shettar.

In a statement, the Goa-based startup said it plans to use the fresh capital to drive expansion, strengthen its workforce, and bolster its tech stack.

Founded in 2022 by Karan Bhangay and Advita Bihani, Indulge Global provides luxury lifestyle concierge services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The startup shot to fame after featuring on Shark Tank India Season 4.

It offers various concierge services such as personalised travel, lifestyle management, bespoke experiences, and more.

Since 2022, Indulge Global has grown from serving just three ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families to catering to over 180 clients now.

The startup counts industrialists, actors, and entrepreneurs like Kunal Shah, Washington Sundar, and Arjun Kapoor among its clients.

Indulge Global aims to serve 12,000 families worldwide by 2025, combining technology and personalised services to redefine modern luxury.

It currently offers its services through two subscription models – Indulge Blue, priced at INR 50K per year, and Indulge Global, priced at INR 4 Lakh per year.

Members get access to a concierge team (referred to as ‘Genies’), which executes esoteric requests of India’s super-rich, providing services ranging from dining reservations at Michelin-starred restaurants to bagging tickets to global events like Wimbledon and Tomorrowland.

Recently, it launched the Indulge App, which it claims is the ‘world’s most expensive app’. The app enables users to access the latest luxury trends and shop for high-end products like watches, purses, yachts, villas, and more.

Indulge Global is among half a dozen of India’s bigger concierge companies catering to the country’s growing population of the super-rich. The likes of Quintessentially Lifestyle, Red Beryl, and A La Concierge offer services like hot air ballooning and import of vintage cars.

Recently, foodtech major Swiggy also began piloting concierge services for premium customers with the launch of Rare Club. The membership programme costs INR 50K annually.

India is currently home to about 14K ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and the population of the super-rich is projected to grow to 20K in 2025 and by 42K by 2027, according to industry estimates.
