For the Brazilian footballer Neymar, a return to his boyhood club, Santos, is imminent. Sources confirmed that his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal is likely to be terminated, with final negotiations still in progress. Neymar, who joined Al Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 for a record $97.6 million, made only seven appearances and scored just one goal in his brief stint.




Following a verbal agreement to return to Santos, formal steps are expected to be completed in the coming week. Neymar is set to travel to Brazil and could be playing for Santos as early as February 5, his 33rd birthday. Neymar began his professional career at Santos in 2009, leading the team to victory in the Copa Libertadores in 2011.
