A sweet moment between Prince William and a young boy from Liverpool has been shared widely on social media this week as fans have praised the future King for his interaction with the child.
During a recent visit to Toxteth in Liverpool, Prince William met a school boy and was asked a very sweet question, as reported by The Mirror.
In a video shared online, a young boy called Mohammed asks the Prince of Wales, 42, whether he is the King.
William was heard replying: "No, I'm not, no. I'm his son!"
The prince then began talking about the young boy instead as he asked him what his name was and if he had a good day at school before the pair took a smiling selfie together.
Since the video has been shared widely online, the prince's fans have been quick to praise him for his sweet interaction with the young boy.
One fan wrote on X: "He answers the question simply, then immediately puts the attention back on the boy. He's a very decent man."
A second said: "Love William - just so chill and at ease with the kids!"
A third wrote: "Both Prince William and Princess Catherine are so good with people, especially children. Their caring and compassion puts people at ease."
A fourth commented: "Adorable."
Princess Kate once displayed a similar tactic to William when she was asked about her own position in the Royal Family.
On a visit a few years ago, the Princess of Wales, 43, was asked by a schoolchild who she was.
Rather than call herself a princess, Kate sweetly answered: "Who am I? I'm married to William."
