He was talking in an interview given to Movie World Media in connection with the promotion of his upcoming new film 'Valatuvashte Kallan'.

To a question on whether he finds it a burden that people always expect a twist from a Jeetu Joseph film, Jeethu replied - "I don't find it a burden. Because I have done it myself. What is the point of blaming others. There is no reason why I would be irritated. When 'Life of Josutty' was released, a boy called me. He asked, 'Bhai, what kind of a film is this, there is no twist in it'. I told him that ad It was clearly written that there is no twist or suspense in it, only Josutti's life. His reply was, 'Still, being your film, I expected a twist. When certain genre films come, there is no point in expecting a twist from them.'

dream project

Jeetu Joseph said, if you want, you can call 'Valatuvashte Kallan' a thriller. But there is no twist in it. It's an emotional crime drama", says Jeethu. Jeethu Joseph also says that he would love to do a film of any genre if the script is good. He also talks about his dream project. If scripts come from outside, I want them not to be thrillers. Just like an actor wants to do all kinds of roles, so does a director. I see myself primarily as a storyteller. The two-three films I am currently working on are I am working on one that is a bit different than what anyone would expect from me. It doesn't mean that the film is too big.
