WARNING: This article contains spoilers from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 2
Audience tuning in to watch episode two of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms got quite the eyeful this week when the opening scenes showed Ser Arlan of Pennytree (played by Danny Webb) going out of a stone hut to relieve himself wearing nothing but his birthday suit.
The second instalment of the HBO fantasy drama series and Game of Thrones spin-off, set years before the parent show, was titled Hard Salt Beef and featured Ser Duncan 'Dunk' the Tall (Peter Claffey) speaking about his time with his beloved mentor.
At one point, Dunk suffered PTSD and re-lived his mentor's death while watching a jousting match at the tourney. This has lead many viewers to ask about Ser Arlan's background as well as star Danny Webb, who portrays him.
Ser Arlan was a hedge knight hailing from the village of Pennytree, who was taken by his grandfather to King's Landing to see the last dragon.
As a knight, he would go on to defeat Ser Damon Lannister in a tourney at Lannisport and later participated in a melee where he unhorsed the lord of House Stokeworth and the Bastard of Harrenhal.
Later, he was defeated by Prince Baelor Targaryen (Bertie Carvel) in a tourney at Storm's End, with Ser Arlan claiming to have broken seven lances against the heir-apparent, who said it was only four.
Ser Arlan also fought alongside his nephew in the Blackfyre Rebellion at the Battle of the Redgrass Field.
Dunk and Ser Arlan met when the latter found the orphan in the slums of Flea Bottom and took him on as a squire. Together, they served House Dondarrion during a conflict with the Vulture King.
Sadly, Ser Arlan died of a chill while they were travelling to the tourney in Ashford, which marked the start of the series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Showrunner Ira Parker said of the episode and joked about the size of Ser Arlan's member: "'Everybody has their one special thing', to quote a good movie. He's got this strange serenity to him that makes me feel like we haven't gone too big with the size of his knighthood."
Parker went on to say: "The reason Ser Arlan has what he has is... because we spend the whole episode taking a s*** on him."
The episode essentially saw Dunk trying to get someone to remember Ser Arlan and vouch for his mentor, so that he too could become a knight.
While Claffey said in the Inside the Episode video: "He probably questions his whole way of life and questions whether Ser Arlan was the person he looks up to.
"It was lovely trying to explore that, because I think it's the whole mentality of Dunk throughout the whole show: Is this the way you live, or am I supposed to live a different way? Should I be looking up to him the way I am? So, I think that's really difficult for Dunk."
Actor Webb has starred in many films and TV shows across his career spanning several decades, with some of his biggest roles being in Alien 3, Robin Hood, Hummingbird, and Valkyrie.
More recently, he's starred in the likes of BBC's The Gold opposite his A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms star Sam Spruell, The Regime with Kate Winslet, Pennyworth and Death in Paradise spin-off Beyond Paradise.
According to IMDb, he's next slated to star in Improper Bastards, which is in pre-production.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms airs on HBO on Sundays in the USA and on Mondays on NOW in the UK
