Among the projects shaping Vidarbha’s industrial future, his proposed Rs 70,000-crore Coal Gasification and Downstream Derivatives Complex at Linga in Kalmeshwar is key and will create direct employment for 30,000 workers and put Nagpur on the global map for clean energy and advanced chemical industries.

The project is a strong step towards a self-reliant India and the Gondkhairi underground mining project is described as an example of responsible and eco-friendly mining, with minimal land use, zero displacement and water conservation as priorities. Meanwhile, the acquisition of a 75-acre ICD at Borkhedi and a border checkpost in Maharashtra is making Vidarbha a strong logistics gateway. Adani gave this information.

Maharashtra’s energy security has been strengthened with the revival of the 3,300 MW supercritical thermal power plant at Tiroda and the 600 MW project at Butibori. The 25-year agreement combines solar and thermal power to provide 6,600 MW of reliable electricity, supporting industries, cities and the digital economy.
