Everyone deserves a comfy bed, humans and pets alike. If your pet's bed has seen better days, or you want to replace it with something that doesn't clash with your furniture, we've found a stylish option at Dunelm that has had rave reviews from dog owners.

The Beatrice Stripe Pet Bed comes in five shades (olive, coral, blue, honey, and black and white), with prices starting from £35 for a medium-sized bed (60cm x W 44cm x D 25cm). The retailer also sells sizes for bigger dogs, with a large (L 68cm x W 53cm x D 27cm) selling for £45 and extra large (L 80cm x W 62cm) for £60. The extra-large bed size is only available in green at the time of writing.

The bed's stylish striped cover is removable and machine washable, making it easy to take care of, and each one has a non-slip underside to keep it in place. Pet beds are often made from warm materials, but this one is suitable for all seasons because it has a reversible cushion that can be adjusted to suit the temperature. There's a warmer side for cold weather, and a cool side for warmer days, which should also be handy for dogs with different-length coats.

Pet beds can be rather bulky, and as most are designed with comfort as a priority, they can often lack style. This one is also aesthetically pleasing, which makes it ideal for households that want to keep their pets comfy without spoiling their carefully decorated interiors. Stripes are trendy at the moment, while the variety of shades available makes it easier to match them to the rest of the room.

And if you want to take it one step further and actually match it with your pet, Dunelm also stocks a (human) armchair with the same name, upholstered in the same striped fabric, in three colour options.

The bed has received the paw print of approval from many pets, whose owners have left positive reviews online. One said: "My dogs love their dog bed. It is attractive and well-made. I have now bought a second one, so they have one each."

Another five-star review said: "My dog absolutely loves it! She finds it hard to relax and was instantly asleep on her back, snoring her head off!"

The bed was also popular with cats, with one owner saying: "My cat immediately jumped in and has barely left it since. I think she approves!"

One review said the bed is "attractive and well made", while another said its "design goes well with [the] living room decor".

Others commented on its durability, with one shopper saying: "Love the stripes! The material is good and thick, and the whole thing is really well, firmly stuffed. The sides stand up well, but the cushion has enough give. The dogs have taken to it instantly."

Another wrote: "This has been a great bed for our 4-month-old lab retriever puppy. I thought it would have been shredded by now, but it's remarkably robust and stood up to lots of mauling."

However, some shoppers were not impressed, with one saying: "Looks lovely but not very durable and made of plastic edgin,g so dangerous when our dog has torn it up."
