Fake University: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a new list of fake universities and colleges across the country. The UGC has made it clear that degrees awarded from these institutions will be completely invalid. This list has been released at a time when entrance exams for college admissions, such as CUET UG and JEE, are being conducted. Therefore, the biggest challenge for students seeking admission to UG and PG courses is how to distinguish between genuine and fake institutions. They also wonder if the degree they have earned is from a fake university.
How to identify a college?
Before seeking admission to any college or university, check the status of the college/university on the official UGC website. For different courses, such as technical, law, or medical, you'll need to visit different websites.
