A Prime Video series hailed as the 'best show ever' is making a comeback with an entirely new cast and concept, though there are still some familiar faces.

Jury Duty is set to return for a second season with a fresh format, with the first episodes ready to stream from 20 March. A unique blend of social experiment, reality series and sitcom, the programme is unlike anything you've likely seen before.

Per its synopsis, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is a comedy series that documents a corporate away day at a family-run hot sauce company, all through the eyes of Anthony, a newly recruited temp.

What Anthony doesn't realise is that the entire experience is a setup. Every colleague around him is playing a part and each moment, whether in meeting rooms or during leisure time, has been carefully choreographed.

As the founder readies to step down, the retreat morphs into a battle between large corporate aspirations and small business principles, with the company's future at stake , reports the Mirror.

Whilst the show's premise requires all the actors to be unknown to the non-actor, there are actually a few faces you might recognise. But who are they and what have they appeared in that might jog your memory? Here's everything you need to know.

Jerry Hauck portrays Doug, the CEO of Rockin Grandma's Hot Sauce. He's characterised as "a lovable papa bear with Big Dad Energy who cares deeply about the company he's built and the people that work for it." Hauck has delivered memorable supporting performances in major programmes including ER, Seinfeld, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Paradise.

Alex Bonifer stars as Doug's son and successor to the business, Dougie Jr. He is "well-meaning but directionless" who suddenly finds himself shouldering enormous responsibilities. Sharp-eyed audiences will recognise Bonifer from Kevin Can F*** Himself where he portrayed the character of Neil.

Amy, from customer relations, is portrayed by Emily Pendergast who possesses considerable expertise in comedy television. She featured in numerous episodes of Veep and Netflix sitcom Leanne. Meanwhile the eventually nicknamed Other Anthony, who serves as the company's Assistant Sourcing Manager, is portrayed by Rob Lathan who previously featured in Inside Amy Schumer and has worked as a writer on other sketch programmes.

Comedian Rachel Kaly portrays remote worker and web designer Claire. Whilst her character might be fixated on the series Bones, she herself has featured on animated comedy Digman! and High Maintenance. No-nonsense Helen from accounting, who has been with the company since its inception alongside Doug, is portrayed by Stephanie Hodge. She ranks amongst the most seasoned cast members with previous appearances including NCIS, Young Sheldon and Scandal. She also held leading roles during the 1990s in Nurses and Unhappily Ever After.

Jackie, who manages distribution and logistics whilst juggling childcare responsibilities at home, is portrayed by LaNisa Renee Frederick. She's previously featured in supporting roles on Brooklyn Nine Nine, The Goldbergs and Mom.

Jim Woods, who served as a writer on The Last O.G. starring Tracy Morgan, and featured in Reno 911!, assumes the role of warehouse manager Jimmy. He may once have been the politically incorrect employee but he's now striving perhaps excessively to become an improved version of himself.

Erica Hernandez portrays Kate from sales and marketing, who frequently conveys the impression she deserves a leadership position herself. Hernandez previously starred in the drama series True Lies, adapted from the 1994 Arnold Schwarzenegger film, as well as New Amsterdam.

The other component of Team Skate (Steve and Kate), Steve is a "confident salesman that plays the calmer yin to Kate's high-strung yang." He is portrayed by Warren Burke who has featured in 13 episodes of Family Reunion and eight episodes of Bigger. Snack-obsessed receptionist PJ is portrayed by Marc-Sully Saint-Fleur, who you might recognise from Steve Carrell's Netflix comedy Space Force or his fleeting roles in Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Good Place. There's also HR manager Kevin, who appears to be the one recruiting Anthony as his assistant.

He is portrayed by Ryan Perez. Perez is in fact an experienced comedy actor, writer and director. He has penned material for Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, whilst he has also helmed Funny or Die shorts featuring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.

Ranch manager Marjorie, who is overseeing the company workers whilst on retreat, is portrayed by Blair Beeken. She most recently featured in Apple's hit sci-fi series Pluribus.

Jury Duty Presents Company Retreat is streaming on Prime Video.
