has committed most of his football career to by signing an incredible nine-and-a-half-year contract at the club. The Norwegian striker has emphatically ended speculation surrounding his future by agreeing a record-smashing deal at the Etihad Stadium in a significant boost for Pep Guardiola.


Haaland's previous deal was due to expire in June 2027 and was believed to include certain clauses that could have facilitated an earlier exit.


Now, the Norwegian striker is here to stay until 2034, with his conew contract said to be worth over £500k per week, ensuring he becomes the highest paid player in the Premier League.


His new deal also is understood to include a release clause said to be in excess of £250m, that comes into play in 2029.


Speaking about his new deal, which will keep him there until he is 34, said: "I am really happy to have signed my new contract and to be able to look forward to spending even more time at this great Club.

Haaland is said to be loving life in Manchester, having recently moved house and become a father for the first time.


He shares a strong relationship with Guardiola, who penned a two-year contract extension until 2027 in November, and other City chiefs, including chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.



The champions consider Haaland the world's best striker after signing him from in a £50.6million transfer in 2022.


He boasts an outrageous record of 111 goals in 126 appearances in all competitions for the club and will now be eyeing longstanding scoring record.
