Noah Centineo teams up with Will Smith for thriller 'Listen'

Noah Centineo, who shot to fame with Netflix's To All the Boys... franchise, has been signed by Will Smith's Westbrook Studios to produce and star in a new thriller movie called Listen.


The news comes just days after the release of the second season of Centineo's hit Netflix series The Recruit.


According to Deadline, Brian Birch will make his feature debut as a writer and director with this project.

Listen is touted to be a "contained thriller that combines suspense and horror through a uniquely sound-driven mystery."


The film will be produced by Smith and Jon Mone, with Bound Entertainment's Samuel Yeunja Ha and Helen Shufan Ren, Enzo Marc, and Centineo for Arkhum Productions also attached as producers.


Ryan Shimazaki and Iris K. Shim will be executive producers.

Westbrook Inc., which Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith founded in 2019, first made headlines with its debut film King Richard.


The studio also signed a first-look deal with National Geographic in 2021.


Their future projects include a remake of Planes, Trains and Automobiles and a sequel to I Am Legend.


Listen's release date is yet to be announced.


Apart from The Recruit Season 2, Centineo also made a recent cameo appearance in the latest installment of XO, Kitty.
